Sign up for NaviNet
NaviNet is a secure, web-based portal that connects you to health plans that you use every day.
To register your office to use NaviNet, one person completes these registration steps. This person must agree to be the NaviNet security officer. A NaviNet security officer manages user access to NaviNet to ensure security and compliance.
NaviNet security officers are typically office supervisors, lead administrators, or experienced NaviNet users.
- Go to NaviNet, and then click Register for a new account. Or, go directly to the Sign up for NaviNet page.
- On the Sign Up For NaviNet screen, review the information, and then click Continue.
- On the About You screen, fill in the required information, and click Next.

On the About Your Office screen,
select the best classification of your organization after reading the brief
explanations. Fill in the required fields, and then click Next.
- If you're a third party, such as a billing or credentialing agency, you must register for your own NaviNet account by choosing the Authorized Third Party option in the About Your Office screen.
- If you're a provider, ancillary, or hospital with multiple locations, choose the Central Billing Office option in the About Your Office screen, and provide office information for your main location only.
We validate your address against USPS data. Choose the correct address, and click Continue.
- Review the Security Officer Agreement, select the two check boxes, and click I Agree.

On the Select Health Plans and
Products screen, add the tax IDs of the office, and click
Next.
We search for eligible health plans and products associated with your tax IDs.
- Select the desired health plans and products, and click Next.
- On the Security Verification screen, you can verify your account with a claim or choose an alternative verification method. Both options generate a request.
- Select the check box to agree with the terms of service and click Submit Request.
Your registration number appears. Use your registration number to upload documents and to check your registration status.
We email you your NaviNet username and password after we finish setting up your office.
The tax IDs that you added determine the initial providers and health plans that you can access in NaviNet. You can add more later, if necessary.
